Foreshore and
seabed legislation
The Hon John Tamihere says there is no
substance to a report in the Sunday Star Times that claims
he is no longer supporting the Foreshore and Seabed
Bill.
"Like all bills that come before Parliament, there
are wrinkles in the foreshore legislation. All Maori MPs in
the Labour caucus are working constructively with Michael
Cullen to address these.
" I will be making no further
comment on this issue," John Tamihere
said.
