Tamihere Cleared By SFO
After a robust and full examination of allegations referred to the Serious Fraud Office by Mr Tamihere, the SFO have concluded today that there is no evidence against him.
Reacting to the outcome of the Serious Fraud office inquiry, John Tamihere MP for Tämaki Mäkaurau said:
“I am very pleased both for myself and my family that I have been cleared of allegations which have been examined by the SFO. My family and I have gone through absolute hell for the last 5 months, but I am pleased now that my name has been restored and my whänau and I can now move on.
“I want to thank all those who supported myself and my family through this harrowing time, especially the ordinary fair minded New Zealanders who suspended their judgement on me until all the facts were examined.
“I can now move on and continue to advocate and work for my constituents and fight for what I believe in,” Mr Tamihere concluded.
