Commissioner Rob Robinson to inquire into the actions of
stood-down Education Minister David Benson Pope had
whitewash written all over it.
“The issue is about whether Mr Benson Pope lied to Parliament, not about whether he committed criminal actions.
“It is all about honesty, not beating up kids.
“Helen Clark has no shame in what is a desperate attempt to safeguard her Minister and to prop up her Government. She has given up all principle in a bit to retain power.”
“Mr Robinson is already under tremendous pressure with the 111 debacle and he should be spending all his attention on this area, leaving politics to the politicians,” says Ms Collins.
