Brash: National in very good heart

National Party Leader Don Brash says the calibre of candidates on the party’s list shows that National is in very good heart going into this year’s general election.

Party President Judy Kirk announced the 65-strong list in Wellington this afternoon.

“I am delighted that such a strong and diverse group of candidates is so keen to help promote National’s vision for a more prosperous New Zealand. This list is representative of mainstream New Zealand and bodes well for the country’s future.”

Dr Brash says these new candidates, along with National’s sitting MPs, will form the next government following this year’s general election.
