Constitutional Committee Report A Predictable Load Of Twaddle
“The feeble report by a Constitutional Select Committee, containing all of the predictable meaningless statements of intent, with no substance, highlights why New Zealand First was totally justified to stay out of this nonsense,” says New Zealand First Leader Rt Hon Winston Peters.
“This committee was always nothing more than a diversionary tactic to take the heat out of the government’s shocking handling of race relations issues.
“New Zealand First wanted no part of this set up then and this report shows we were right.
“All this report shows is that Helen Clark and Labour take the New Zealand public for fools when it comes to constitutional matters.
“Labour should be reminded that you can fool some of the people some of the time, but you can’t fool all of the people all of the time,” concluded Mr Peters.
