NZ First’s Position Totally Clear – Peters
“The comments by both Audrey Young and John Armstrong in today’s Herald are mischievously wrong and continues a pattern of reporting that New Zealanders could well do without,” says Rt Hon Winston Peters.
“When I said at a public meeting in Rotorua last Wednesday that the party with the most votes is entitled to form a government, without needing the extremists of the far Left or the far Right, that explicitly ruled out a pre-determined political power bloc and ensured that that party could govern with stability for three years.
“One shouldn’t have to, in the last week of the campaign, put up with second class journalism, seeking to misinform the voting public,” said Mr Peters.
