National Congratulates Inglis
The National Party has congratulated double amputee and mountaineer Mark Inglis and his team for successfully scaling the world's highest peak.
"Mark is an inspiration. He had both legs amputated below the knee after being trapped in an ice cave for 14 days on Mount Cook in 1982," says National's Disability Issues spokesman, Dr Paul Hutchison.
"His example of extraordinary courage, bravery and determination is truly in the tradition of Sir Edmund Hillary. He and his team are to be congratulated."
