Plunket doing a good job
A media report today suggesting that National has Plunket services ‘under the microscope’ is not correct, says National MP Tony Ryall.
"We are undertaking a policy review of Well Child services throughout New Zealand. This is responding to concerns from many people that Well Child services could be more extensive.
“We are looking at how those services could be enhanced.
“We have no concerns about the quality of Plunket's services.
"National has already committed to supporting a 24-hour PlunketLine service.”
“We wish the Government would value this Kiwi icon, and fund PlunketLine again.”
