Haydn Sherley
The Broadcasting Minister, Steve Maharey, has expressed his sorrow at the death of the broadcaster, Haydn Sherley.
"Haydn Sherley was educated at Auckland Grammar School, and he joined the old broadcasting service in 1953.
"He had a jazz programme which ran on Radio New Zealand National for more than 30 years. He has died aged 83."
Steve Maharey extended his deepest sympathy to his family and loved ones.
