Dunne slams 'myopic' Air New Zealand
UnitedFuture leader Peter Dunne today slammed Air New Zealand for its 'dopey and myopic' decision to increase its charter business by ferrying Australian troops to the Middle East.
"Air New Zealand's board and management should know they are the majority taxpayer-owned flag carrier for New Zealand, not the lickspittle lackeys of the Australian and American Governments.
"They should know that the New Zealand Government, with the backing of the voters, has decided against taking part in the Middle East conflict and the decision of the national airline to flout that decision is dopey and myopic," said Mr Dunne.
