An article in the Listener this
week about New Zealand First Incorporated is “total
garbage”, says Rt Hon Winston Peters.
Mr Peters says New
Zealand First Incorporated was set up well before the
political party with the sole purpose to preserve the name
“New Zealand First”.
”This explains why in its first
fifteen years there has been no income or expenses and this
information could have been found out very simply by the
Listener journalist.
“Instead the Listener has chosen to
go with inference and innuendo under the guise of
journalism. We suggest the individual concerned and those
who follow up this rubbish go back and do Journalism
101.
“A number of media outlets are getting involved in
an orchestrated smear campaign and they will simply not
succeed,” said Mr
Peters.
