The committee stage and the third stage of the Taxation (GST and Remedial Matters) Bill were completed shortly before 9pm after debate began at 9.30am this morning.
The bill passed its third reading by 66 to 47 with National, ACT, the Maori Party and United Future supporting.
MPs then began the first reading debate of the Biosecurity Law Reform Bill.
