The Social Security Amendment
Bill (No 3) passed its second stage by 110 to 10 with the
Green Party and Chris Carter opposing.
The bill was sent
to the Social Services Committee for consideration.
The
House rose just before 10 pm interrupting the committee
stage debate on the Whanganui Iwi (Whanganui (Kaitoke)
Prison and Northern Part of Whanganui Forest) On-account
Settlement Bill.
