When Parliament resumed the Acting Leader of the House Simon Power said the Government next week would seek to make progress on a number of Treaty of Waitangi settlement bills and aquaculture law reform.

Wednesday would be a Members Day and Thursday is Budget Day.

Mr Power said details of Urgency following the delivery of the Budget would be discussed at Parliament’s Business Committee on Tuesday.

Papers concerning the Plumbers, Gasfitters and Drainlayers Board were tabled, as were reports from the Social Services Committee on the Social Security Amendment Bill (No 3) and the Housing Corporation Amendment Bill.
