When Parliament resumed at 2pm a petition from Helen Kelly on behalf of the CTU signed by 15 people was presented calling for a select committee inquiry into the implications for New Zealand of the Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement, and for the publication on the internet of documents tabled by the Government, and of other key documents, at the negotiations.

Select committee reports were presented on:

the Biosecurity Law Reform Bill as reported by the Primary Production Committee;

Reserve Bank of New Zealand's monetary policy statement, June 2011 by the Finance and Expenditure Committee;

Building Amendment Bill (No 3) by the Local Government and Environment Committee;

Nga Wai o Maniapoto (Waipa River) Bill by the Māori Affairs Committee;

Crown Pastoral Land (Rent for Pastoral Leases) Amendment Bill by the Primary Production Committee;
