House Marks The Death Of Soldier


When Parliament resumed at 2pm, Prime Minister John Key moved a notice without motion asking the House to express its sadness at the recent death of a soldier in Afghanistan.

The motion was passed on a voice vote.

Select committes reports were presented on the :

Briefing on Cambodia's war crimes tribunal by the Foreign Affairs, Defence and Trade Committee; and
Petition 2008/144 of Murray Maurice Storey by the Foreign Affairs, Defence and Trade Committee.

Question Time began.
