Today I am arriving home from a very successful
visit to China, Hong Kong, and the Netherlands.
meeting with world leaders we had some great wins for New
Zealand. We agreed to extend our trade target between New
Zealand and China, and we deepened relations with the
European Union including the option of exploring a Free
Trade Agreement with the EU.
Improved relations with our
trading partners are a long-term boost for exporters and
ultimately more jobs and opportunities for all New

MP Pay Rises To Match Public Service
Prime Minister John Key today announced an overhaul of the Remuneration Authority Act, tying MP salaries to those of the wider public sector, which will be passed under urgency.
