Behind the scenes on Budget Day

On 21 May, I delivered National’s seventh budget.

Budget 2015 builds on the gains of the past seven years to deliver careful management of public spending hand-in-hand with more investment in public services like health and education.

It’s a Budget that shows our plan is working. The economy is on the right track, there are more jobs and incomes are increasing – and this Budget gives low-income families a hand up.

This is a Government that is delivering for New Zealand and helping families get ahead. I hope you’ll take a few moments to find out more.
