Facebook page showcasing local support for Jetstar coming to Palmerston North

Jono Naylor’s Facebook page Jetstar to Palmerston North is gaining support with over 10,000 likes in less than 3 days.

“The aim of this page is to showcase the support of the city to Jetstar,” says Jono Naylor MP.

“I wanted to make sure that people in our city get behind this proposal”

“With over 8,000 likes in less than three days, we have shown that Palmerston North is behind this idea.

“Other cities, such as New Plymouth and Nelson have established pages and at last look Palmerston North’s page had more of a following.

“My aim is that the Facebook page can become a hub of conversation about why our city would be a great Jetstar destination.

“I encourage people to go and like the page to show their support,” says Naylor.

A survey has been added to the Facebook page to give people an opportunity to convey their priorities to the decision makers at Jetstar.
