Tolley Talk: Christmas edition

Tolley Talk: Christmas edition

Hon Anne Tolley
MP for East Coast

As 2015 draws to a close I want to take this opportunity to wish you all a merry Christmas, a safe holiday period and a happy new year.

The holiday season is always busy, with plenty of BBQs, trips to the beach and visiting family and friends. Please be careful on the roads, and in and around the water this summer.

Make sure you are well rested before any long drives and have a plan to get home safely if you are going to drink. Know your limits, and drink responsibly.

Keep yourself and others safe – whether in the home, on the roads, in the water or while out and about this summer. That may mean taking a little longer to get where you’re going, electing a sober driver or giving yourself some tactics to deal with anger and frustration.

But most of all enjoy your time with family and friends. It is a special time of year and I hope you all make the most of it and come back refreshed and ready for what 2016 will bring.

Finally, I want to thank all of those who are working over the festive season – including our emergency services staff, volunteers, and caregivers. You do a fantastic job and I wholeheartedly thank you.

Wishing you all a safe and happy Christmas,

Hon Anne Tolley
