Eric Mcisaac is Another Law & Order Black Mark
New Zealand First is repeating its view that law and order is now dominated by political do-gooders who see that crime is a disease.
“Last week it was Blessie Gotingco and this week comes another victim of the system - 10 year-old Alex Fisher,” says Darroch Ball, New Zealand First’s acting Police Spokesperson.
“Truly bad people like Tony Robertson and Eric McIsaac must be imprisoned to protect society from them. The issue seems to be a combination of a National government that’s soft on crime and their do-gooder mates.
“Both Robertson and McIsaac were time bombs and people have died after their release. In the case of McIsaac, it was only 83 days after leaving prison before he took the life of his own half-brother.
“Monsters like them should not be released into society unless they are assessed as presenting no threat whatsoever. If that means they have to stay behind bars for the rest of their natural lives then our laws need to provide for high risk criminals,” Mr Ball said.
