Brett Hudson welcomes investment in Raroa Normal Intermediate School

National List MP based in Ōhāriu, Brett Hudson, is very pleased with today’s announcement of a $1.1 million investment in new classrooms for Raroa Normal Intermediate School.

“It was fantastic to attend the school today to celebrate the announcement by Associate Minister of Education Hon Nikki Kaye,” Mr Hudson says. “The investment will go towards two new classrooms for Raroa Intermediate, to accommodate their significant roll growth.

“Comfortable and modern classrooms are vital to help young people learn. The National-led Government is investing heavily in education and Ōhāriu schools are benefitting greatly.

“This investment follows the Government’s December announcement of $6 million for new buildings at Churton Park School. Since November 2015, this Government has also pledged around $117 million to redevelop infrastructure at a number of Wellington schools.”
