Digital Technology Investments
National List MP based in Ōhāriu, Brett Hudson, has welcomed today’s announcements which will see the introduction of new digital technologies content for the digital curriculum and an investment package of $40 million to support the digital fluency of young people over the next three years.
The announcement made today by Education Minister Nikki Kaye will see more Government investment to prepare young people for a digital world, including upskilling our teachers, supporting a shift to a more digitally-based education systems, and initiatives that will provide more opportunities for digital learning.
These developments will build the capability and capacity of IT skills in the future, which is important to our economic diversity, creating more jobs and raising incomes.
