Green Party candidate pulls out to take public service role
Green Party candidate withdraws from list to take up role in public service
Green Party candidate Susanne Ruthven has withdrawn from the Party's list to take up a role at the Ministry for Pacific Peoples.
Because her role is in the public service this precludes her from running for election, so she has withdrawn from the Party’s list and seeking election in the Hutt South electorate.
Green Party Co-convenor John Ranta says, “The Party wishes Susanne well in her role.”
The Party has yet to decide whether it will stand anyone else in the Hutt South electorate.
