The Governance and Administration Committee
invites the public to have its say on the Statutes Amendment
Bill (No 2). Introduced by virtue of standing order
262(1)(f), the Statutes Amendment Bill is an omnibus bill
that consists of entirely of amendments to Acts.
Statutes Amendment bills are a common feature of the New Zealand system. They contain non-controversial amendments, such as corrections of drafting errors.
