Labour disappointment evident at Question-time in House

“The bad tempers amongst the Labour Party during question time show how disappointed Labour are with their Finance Spokesman. Cullen lost the battle on the Holmes Show when he went one-to-one with Bill English.” says National MP Annabel Young.

“The only growth industry under Labour will be tax-planning. Tax planners will be able to retire on the profits from avoiding Labour’s loony tax proposals. It is bizarre that Labour are targeting the votes of tax lawyers and accountants. What has happened to their traditional voting base?”

Ms Young said that voters have a clear choice and they will vote with their wallets in mind. “Only Labour Party hacks think that Labour is the best person to spend their money.”

Given the layers of meta-irony involved, the saga of the Sony cyber attack seemed at the outset more like a snarky European art film than a popcorn entry at the multiplex.

Yet now with (a) President Barack Obama weighing in on the side of artistic freedom and calling for the US to make a ‘proportionate response’quickly followed by (b) North Korea’s entire Internet service going down, and with both these events being followed by (c) Sony deciding to backtrack and release The Interview film that had made it a target for the dastardly North Koreans in the first place, then ay caramba…the whole world will now be watching how this affair pans out.
