Labour Leader in a Tizzy after Poor Poll Result
Clark
tries distraction tactics
Labour leadership is in a tizzy after the latest poll shows a poor result, according to Wellington National MP, Annabel Young.
“Clark’s foray into Defence is a direct result of their poor polling. Labour’s tax proposals are showing up in the polls and it is clear that voters are rejecting them. Clark has launched a “Defence offensive” as a classic distraction but it won’t work. Labour aren’t trusted on tax and shooting a few volleys on the Defence issue won’t be enough to lure the voters into their camp.”
“Voters should be very wary of Labour trying to save money on Defence at the expense of the lives of young New Zealanders. This is an issue on which Labour shouldn’t be trying to make cheap political capital.”
