ACT Leader Richard Prebble says the Alliance's latest proposal to create a new Minister of Emergency Services brings the total of new ministries and commissions proposed by Labour and the Alliance to 63.
"Given that you only need 60 MPs to be the government, under Labour and the Alliance, who would be the back benchers?" Mr Prebble asked.
"Talk about jobs for the boys and girls - surely this deluge of Ministers would by itself constitute an emergency!"
