Italian’s Welcome Opportunity To Parade

Italian’s Welcome Opportunity To Parade

MEDIACOM-RELEASE-ITALIAN-EMBASSY

PRESS RELEASE

The Embassy of Italy welcomes the invitation of the Rt.Hon Helen
Clark, rime Minister of New Zealand, to Italian Team Prada to
participate in the celebrations to be held at Parliament on
Wednesday 8 March, as well of that of His Worship Mark Blumsky,
Mayor of Wellington, to take part in the city Parade: these two
events affirm once again the friendship and hospitality shown by the
New Zealand Government and the people of New Zealand towards
Italian participation in the Louis Vuitton Cup and the America's
Cup.

In this framework, the Ambassador of Italy will hold a Garden
Reception in the Residence of the Italian Embassy in
Thorndon, Wellington, from 2 to 4p.m. on the same day to
reciprocate the courtesies of the Rt.Hon Helen Clark, and of His
Worship Mayor Mark Blumsky, in honour of Team New Zealand and
Italian Team Prada, also attended by representatives of the Italian
community in New Zealand.

The Embassy of Italy takes this opportunity to express its warm
congratulations to the winning team of the America's Cup and will be
delighted to have the attendance of Team New Zealand members on
this occasion.

Wellington, March 6th 2000.
