Food Should Not Be Allowed to Sue People

The Corrective Party is most concerned at the current development that allows food to sue for defamation. It seems that an aggrieved fish is targeting Ms Sue Kedgeley, the Greens spokesperson on animal welfare, over the issue of mercury content.

We must remember that temperamental beef also attacked Oprah Winfrey in court due to similar American legislation that respects the hurt feelings of foodstuffs against people who mock them.

Food should not be allowed to pursue these legal strategies. Any turkey can say it has been maligned and cruelly mocked, which means politicians would have a field day on anyone who made snide remarks about them.
