Press Release: Public Service Association
|
Late today the PSA forwarded to the Minister of Justice Matt
Robson, a number of serious concerns the union has about the
breakdown of service delivered in CPS.
"Our members
have forwarded through the union, their real concerns about
individual offenders and the breaching of the conditions of
their sentences". said Richard Wagstaff PSA National
Secretary.
"Our members concern is such that, depite
being on strike, they have in their own time, attempted to
contact some of these high risk offenders in order to
monitor them"
"We are not confident that CPS has taken
measures to properly address these urgent concerns. That is
why we are taking this up directly with the minister." said
Richard
Wagstaff
