Commission’s New Head Ofcommunications

The Electoral Commission announced today that it had appointed Peter Northcote as its new Communications Manager. He will replace Doug Eckhoff who retires at the end of the month.

Mr Northcote has latterly been senior account director for Singleton Ogilvy & Mather/Redrocks Advertising and was Director of Communications for the Ministry of Education between 1995—2000.

He has had extensive experience in planning and implementing advertising, marketing and public relations campaigns, media liaison, corporate communications, design, writing and editing and market research.
