Anna Smashnova-Pistolesi Declines To Response
Anna
Smashnova-Pistolesi ( ISRAEL) has declined to respond to an
open letter presented to her by Graham Pearce of the
Auckland Tennis Association on behalf of the Palestine Human
Rights Campaign, in which she was urged to support the peace
process and meet with the group in Auckland to discuss ways
of promoting peace through sport.
It was hoped that ways
of helping young tennis players in Palestine as well as in
Israel build bridges to understanding and peace through
sport, could be discussed.
