Join Us In Our Fight Against Child Abuse

"To All Decent Caring New Zealanders....."

By Rod Hinchco

"Remember.'ACC's Day Of Shame'?"

Ryan Becker is a twelve year old boy, who as a toddler of just two years, was viciously attacked by a dog, and whilst in its mouth, he was battered and beaten until his tiny little head was almost a pulp.

As a consequence, Ryan has suffered these years, and is condemned to suffer on through the rest of his precious life, with serious disabilities. Of course, ACC accepted his case, as well they should have, but over these past twelve years they have constantly tormented him, withdrawing funding for his ongoing treatment, and thereby, not only neglecting their legal responsibilities, but also inflicting on him, even greater suffering. They have inflicted pain such, that only he can comprehend.

What value, the life of a little 12 year old with such serious disabilities, you might ask, though I'll wager you won't. You see, this letter is after all, addressed to caring New Zealanders.in fact, I'll extend that to caring people, even tourists who might be traveling through our country at this time.

You will more likely think of such treatment as an atrocity,..... but it can't be.

You see, this infliction of pain and suffering on a helpless child, is the work of our Government. Our Government profess for the most part, to be Christians.well, they seem to flock to the cathedrals or to churches when someone important dies. Hell! They even have the church reserved for them, and at times exclusively.

The are so devout that they can do that. They are the chosen ones, and yet they would do such a dastardly, cowardly, foul thing, to an already suffering child.

Oh the little chap's parents can appeal, but they have already done that. And they won, but now, this Government has left them no option other than to accept their dictates, and suffer on, or to somehow find the money to take out an injunction against the Crown.

You think I'm about to ask you for some money right?..Well, I'm not. I don't want your money. You are already paying for this little fellow's funding anyway, it's just that he isn't getting it.

The Government, you see, can possibly invest what they might otherwise have paid out for this child's relative peace, and freedom from torment, and they may make even more money from their investment.

No, what I'm asking of you is simply this.Realise if you would, just how cruel, malicious and corrupt this Government really is.

How anti-Christ, that they would not only let a child suffer so, but impose the suffering it in the first place.

I want you to realise that. The same might happen to one of your own. Who knows!

If you are receiving this or reading it off the internet right here at www.kiwinews.co.nz then you can do your bit by sending copies to your MP.

Now they will be basking in the sun for a few weeks yet, but the suffering and the torment continue, even while they sun themselves.

The pain doesn't go away.

I'd like you to spend a little time and send copies to your friends, and ask them to forward copies to their friends in turn.

I'd like you to copy the news media, most of which has Government funds invested in it and supporting it. Those same funds that they took off you to fund ACC in fact.

I'd like you to send copies to the International media. To kiwis overseas.you see, somewhere out there, there are people who really do care. People with decency and love and an ounce or two of guts as well.

Some of you might think that by my mentioning this little boy's name, I've invaded his privacy.I haven't.

Ryan Becker is a symbol of courage. He is a symbol of tenacity. He is a symbol of hope. He is a symbol of justice..but he needs your support. A minute or two of your time.

Help take away his pain. Help soothe his brow.

In closing, let me share a sad little message I received just this morning..

".got letter from ACC yesterday Ryan's funding to physiotherapy has now been stopped."

Doesn't it make you proud to be a kiwi?

God Bless.

Gordon Campbell: On the Sony cyber attack

Given the layers of meta-irony involved, the saga of the Sony cyber attack seemed at the outset more like a snarky European art film than a popcorn entry at the multiplex.

Yet now with (a) President Barack Obama weighing in on the side of artistic freedom and calling for the US to make a ‘proportionate response’quickly followed by (b) North Korea’s entire Internet service going down, and with both these events being followed by (c) Sony deciding to backtrack and release The Interview film that had made it a target for the dastardly North Koreans in the first place, then ay caramba…the whole world will now be watching how this affair pans out.
