New Zealander killed in Iraq - Details Released
The family
of the New Zealand man killed in northern Iraq yesterday has
authorised us to release some details about him.
He was
John Robert TYRRELL.
Mr Tyrrell lived in Thailand. His
wife and family are resident there and his body will be
returned there for his funeral. His New Zealand family comes
from New Plymouth.
The family has asked us to pass on the
following message: "Please accept the family's right to
grieve privately. No further statement will be made".
The
Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade has no further
information on the circumstances of Mr Tyrrell's death
beyond that released last night and this morning.
