NZ Army Talks With Australia Successful
Talks between New Zealand and Australia that began on Monday at Linton Military Camp and finished today, have been highly successful.
Lead by NZ Army's Brigadier Paul Southwell and Australian Army's Deputy Chief of Army, Major General Ian Gordon, the 22 attendees discussed issues regarding interoperability and looked at ways to improve the two Armies understanding, effectiveness, and long-standing close alliance.
Brigadier Paul Southwell, who lead the New Zealand Army's contribution said "the talks were very successful and of great value to both armies".
The
talks provided a forum to solve interoperability issues and
discuss individual and combined training programmes.
