Palestine Human Rights Campaign applauds NZ government
aid package
The Palestine Human Rights Campaign congratulates the Government on the recent news that $800,000 will be provided for UNRWA to help in the current crisis in Palestine.
This should be accompanied by increased pressure on the government of Israel or a New Zealand-lead campaign of Western Countries to isolate Israel until the Separation Wall is demolished and true freedom is restored to the Palestinians in Gaza, East Jerusalem and the West Bank, as countless U.N. Resolutions have stated.
Unless the Israeli Occupation is stopped,
such aid, as provided for the past 55 years, becomes a sad
indictment on the world's inability to cease Israel's
barbaric processes of destruction and misery.
