NO, Mr. Karol Wojtila, you were not welcomed!

NO, Mr. Karol Wojtila, you were not welcomed!

As was announced in the press release before the visit by the Pope Jean-Paul II on August 15 at Lourdes , some members of the Raelian Movement went on the site to express their strongest disapproval to his presence.

In their majority, Christians are sincere people, but are they aware of their association to a group whose philosophy is criminal?

Denouncing the fierce imbecilities of religious beliefs is a duty. The "invention" of the Marian dogma, which appears 18 centuries after Jesus’ death, would make people laugh out loud if it were proposed by any other group than a majority religion.

Today as yesterday, everywhere on Earth the religions make war. Religions kill!

- The Church imposes baptism to minors, thus manifesting the greatest contempt for their free will.

- The Church prohibits divorce, whereas a married couple on two will divorce. Do you agree of feeling guilty because of a tradition of another age?

- The Church is misogynist and prohibits the access of women to sacerdotal functions.

- The Church condemns, among others things, birth control and the means of contraception, thus accelerating the demographic explosion. It goes as far as prohibiting the use of the condom, at the risk of seeing you being contaminated by the AIDS virus that kills millions of people each year.

How can you continue to support (even involuntarily) this church?

One should not be surprised if so many priests, trying to escape from their sexual misery, in which they are relegated by the chastity rules of the Vatican , are sometimes tempted to touch the children who are entrusted to them.

For some time the media are breaking the wall of silence and denounce the many scandals the churches are faced with; and let us be reminded that the lawsuits for pedophilia, rapes or nuns abortions, or for financial scandals are only a small part of reality, as the emergent tip of the iceberg!

Christians, it is high time for you of apostatize! Refuse to be the quiet accomplices of genocides, wars, massacres. Dissociate yourself from all the crimes and sufferings committed by your religion, for centuries in the name of God. Liberate yourself from the guilt imposed by your religion. God does not exist!

The Raelian Movement, which claims that all forms of lives on Earth were created in the past by extraterrestrial visitors, is the largest world organization proselytizing atheism. Each day that passes by brings, with its batch of scientific discoveries, the confirmation that we very soon will renew this wonder: scientifically create life and spread out in space.

Gordon Campbell: On the Sony cyber attack

Given the layers of meta-irony involved, the saga of the Sony cyber attack seemed at the outset more like a snarky European art film than a popcorn entry at the multiplex.

Yet now with (a) President Barack Obama weighing in on the side of artistic freedom and calling for the US to make a ‘proportionate response’quickly followed by (b) North Korea’s entire Internet service going down, and with both these events being followed by (c) Sony deciding to backtrack and release The Interview film that had made it a target for the dastardly North Koreans in the first place, then ay caramba…the whole world will now be watching how this affair pans out.
