Libs Congratulate "Christians for Civil Unions"

Leading Libertarian congratulates "Christians for civil Unions"

The libertarianz party candidate for Hamilton Mayor Tim Wikiriwhi said he was very pleased to hear about the "Christians for Civil Unions" counter-protest against The Destiny church “Enough is enough” rally.

Mr Wikiriwhi himself a staunch Christian said "The Christians for Civil Unions have done both Christianity and justice a great service by standing against the tyrannical bigotry of Destiny church and are a witness to the truth that real Christians do not support the oppression of others, nor seek the state to impose morality upon anyone.

"I have come out to congratulate Margaret Mayman, Spokesperson for Christians for Civil Unions for their Libertarian ideals". Her speech with such jems as "We are here today to stand up for human rights. And rights for gay and lesbian people are human rights, not special rights, just equal rights. We are here to affirm the rights of all New Zealanders to legal protection and social respect for their relationships" are words any Libertarian would be proud to utter! My Wikiriwhi seeks to dispel the common notion that his party is anti- Christian and anti religion because it was founded by such vocal anti religious Objectivists like Lindsay Perigo and party press releases often pour scorn upon religious groups like Destiny because they seek to mix church and state and destroy the rights and liberties of others.

"Lindsay and I are polls apart when it comes to religion but stand as one in agreement that everyone has the right to hold what ever religious beliefs they desire as long as they do not seek to impose their religion upon others by force.

Morality is a matter of freewill and reason!" The libertarianz Party is a non-religious freedom party and we welcome all whom wish to live in the peaceful pursuit of their own happiness at their own expense.
