Courage and Quick Thinking Foil Attack

MEDIA RELEASE - John Douglas WILLIS
At about 2.00pm on Monday, 27 June 2005, a Plimmerton woman was seriously assaulted at a Plimmerton address.
Due to her quick thinking, courage and bravery, she escaped before being seriously injured.
About an hour later a woman disturbed a male hiding under a bed at her St Andrew`s Road address - this is part of State Highway One that runs from the Mana Esplanade through to State Highway One.
The male escaped. A dog tracked him into Camborne where the track was lost.
Police believe the offender for the assault and subsequent burglary are related.
The Police wish to speak to John Douglas WILLIS, who also uses a number of aliases in relation to the above crimes.
WILLIS is considered to be armed and extremely dangerous and the public are warned not to approach him. Any sightings or knowledge of his whereabouts, please contact the Police immediately.
