Kiwi Troops Deploying To Afghanistan

On Monday October 16 a contingent of 108 New Zealand Defence Force Personnel will depart from Ohakea Air Force Base for Bamyan Province, Afghanistan. They will be the ninth rotation of NZDF personnel to serve in the New Zealand Provincial Reconstruction Team. Minister of Defence Phil Goff will be in attendance for the deployment.

When: Flight departs 10am on Monday 16 October. Where: Ohakea Air Force Base What: Deployment of 108 NZDF personnel to Afghanistan to serve in the New Zealand Provincial Reconstruction Team in Bamyan Province.
