Nuclear Debate Commemorates 20th Anniversary of Anti-Nuclear Legislation
Auckland's top high school debaters are set to engage in a battle of oratory and reason in an event to commemorate the 20th anniversary of New Zealand's anti-nuclear laws.

The debate is proudly presented by the Peace Foundation and the University of Auckland Debating Society – who can boast original anti-nuclear stalwart David Lange as one of their illustrious alumni.
As well as showcasing talented, up-and-coming public speakers, it is hoped the nuclear debate will increase awareness of New Zealand's nuclear-free history, and encourage people to engage in their own dialogue on this contemporary issue.
The public is warmly invited to attend what is sure to be a stimulating, interesting, and uranium-filled night.
