Food Price Index delayed due to industrial action

November 2007 Food Price Index delayed due to industrial action

Statistics New Zealand has postponed the publication of the November 2007 Food Price Index report, due to industrial action by the Public Service Association (PSA).

The industrial action means that Statistics New Zealand's analysts will not be able to access vital data that they need to produce and publish the index at the originally scheduled date of Wednesday 12 December 2007.

Statistics New Zealand will issue a further advisory once a revised publication date for the November 2007 Food Price Index has been set.

Statistics New Zealand regrets any inconvenience that this delay in publication will cause to users of food price data.

We remain committed to working with the PSA to achieve the best long-term outcomes for staff and statistics users.
