A 20 year old male was seriously assaulted and robbed by three males on Condell Avenue, Papanui in the early hours of New Years day. Sometime between 2.15-2.35 am the male was assaulted from behind knocking him unconscious and causing serious head injuries that required medical attention.
The attack was unprovoked and of a cowardly nature. The three male offenders are all described as Europeans and approximately 20 years of age. Anyone with information in relation to this assault can contact Constable James Mason at the Papanui Police.
