Saturday 6th July: The Maori Party co-leader, Dr Pita Sharples, announced his resignation from the party's co-leadership role earlier this week, prompting a signal that before the next election, his ministerial portfolios could also be relinquished. Eruera Morgan speaks with veteran broadcaster and journalist, Wena Tait, who provides a performance review of Dr Sharples' near-decade standing, in the political arena.

Sunday 7th July: Maori Language Week 2013 has come and gone with an emphasis on correct pronunciation and the usage of Maori place names. Eruera catches up with Te Taura Whiri i Te Reo Maori CEO, Glenys Philip Barbara on her assessment of the week's nation-wide activities and provides an insight in terms of the health of the language.
