Year End Financial Statements

The latest year end financial statements are the Financial Statements of the Government of New Zealand for the Year Ended 30 June 2013 [Scoop copy, PDF]published on 7 October 2013.

The Fiscal Overview diagram outlines the government's long-term fiscal strategy and links the fiscal indicators used to measure against this strategy back to information contained in the financial statements.

The Treasury has also prepared A Snapshot of the 2013 Financial Statements of the Government [Scoop copy, PDF] which is a high level presentation of key facts and figures of the financial year, intended to make the financial statements more user friendly and accessible.

Next Release of Year End Financial Statements

The Financial Statements of the Government of New Zealand for the Year Ended 30 June 2014 will be released around October 2014. The Minister of Finance usually announces in September the exact date when the year end financial statements will be released.

Trial Over 'Anonymous' Donations: John Banks Resigns As Minister
