ACT Announces Christchurch East By-election Candidate

ACT President John Boscawen is pleased to announce that Gareth Veale, an Earthquake Claims Specialist, will be ACT's candidate in the Christchurch East by-election.

This by-election is an opportunity for voters to send a message that less talk and more action is required to fix the huge problems confronting the residents of Christchurch East - and Christchurch overall.

Mr Veale is standing to promote the ACT values of property rights and practical law and order policies. Gareth works very closely with people badly affected by the earthquakes, so he is well aware of the issues facing Christchurch East as it progresses forward.
