Draft Decision
The Peka Peka to North Otaki Expressway Board of Inquiry released its Draft Report and Decision on 29 November 2013. A copy of the Draft Report and Decision is available below.
As required under section 149Q of the RMA the Draft Report and Decision was provided to the New Zealand Transport Agency, KiwiRail Holdings Limited, Kapiti Coast District Council, Greater Wellington Regional Council, all submitters, the Minister for the Environment and landowners and occupiers directly affected by the Draft Decision. These parties have until 5 pm Tuesday 21 January 2014 to comment on minor or technical aspects of the Draft Report and Decision.
In summary the Board's Draft Report and Decision confirms the notices of requirement sought by NZTA and KiwiRail and grants the resource consents subject to the imposition of conditions contained in Volume 2 of the Report and Decision.
