Reduction to ACC Levies a Good Start

Reacting to today's reduction of ACC levies which, according to ACC Minister Judith Collins, will save New Zealanders $387 million per year, Jordan Williams, Executive Director of the Taxpayers’ Unionsays:

ACC levies are just one of many taxes which ultimately land on kiwi households. Today's reduction is a good start but there is a lot more to be done to ease New Zealand's heavy tax burden.”

"As the Government moves back into surplus Wellington's priority should be to let taxpayers keep more of their money. If not, the election is likely to turn into a taxpayer funded lolly scramble."
