Council Now Desperate for Cash Cow

Responding to the Radio New Zealand report that a campaign has begun for Auckland Council to take over the lines company Vector, Taxpayers’ UnionExecutive Director Jordan Williams says:

“The solution for Auckland Council is really simple – it needs to stop wasting money.”

“Aucklanders were promised an efficient Super City. Instead Len Brown has created a behemoth organisation that wants new taxes, new responsibilities and is now even trying to pinch Vector to pay for it’s wastefulness.”
